Questions & Answers

Everything you want to know about Woxpas

Most Asked

1

What is Woxpas?

Woxpas is the memory layer you own. It gives you one memory that works across every AI tool — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI*, Slack, and more. Save once, use everywhere. You control what gets remembered, corrected, and deleted. Every answer cites its source.

2

How does Woxpas work?

Capture from anywhere — direct chat, file upload, browser extension, Slack, or any AI tool via MCP. Woxpas automatically extracts entities, commitments, events, and knowledge claims, then connects everything in a memory graph. Your memory follows you across every tool you use.

3

How is Woxpas different from Claude or ChatGPT memory?

Those platforms decide what to remember about you. You can't see, edit, move, or share those memories — and they don't work across tools. Woxpas gives you a vault you control. You decide what gets remembered, you can correct or delete anything, and your memory works in every MCP-compatible tool, not just one.

4

What is the Daily Digest?

An AI-generated daily briefing that surfaces what needs your attention — upcoming commitments, unresolved conflicts, resurfaced ideas, and connections you'd otherwise miss. It's delivered as a page in the app and can be requested via MCP from any AI tool.

5

What is MCP and how does it work?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools connect to external data sources. Woxpas provides an MCP server that any compatible tool can connect to. Once connected, the tool can save memories to and recall memories from your Woxpas vault — with your permission.

What Woxpas is NOT

Is Woxpas a notebook?

No — it's a memory layer above your existing apps. Keep taking notes anywhere; Woxpas connects and recalls them.

Is it a replacement for Google Drive or Notion?

No — Woxpas helps you understand and use knowledge stored in those tools, not replace where you store files.

Is it a generic AI chatbot?

No — Woxpas is a cross-tool memory layer. Chat exists for deeper exploration, but the real value is consistent memory across every AI tool you use.
