Getting Started

From sign-up to your first connected memory in under five minutes.

What is Woxpas?

Woxpas is a personal memory engine. You feed it your documents, notes, and files, and it builds a connected knowledge graph that you can search, chat with, and explore. It extracts key insights, tracks your commitments, and gives you AI-powered answers grounded in your own content.

It's a memory layer that works on its own or connects across every AI tool you use — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and more via MCP.

1

Create your account

Head to the registration page and sign up with your email. Woxpas is currently in open beta with limited spots available.

Tip: After creating your account, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) in Settings for added security.

2

Complete onboarding

After sign-up, you'll go through a quick onboarding flow to configure Woxpas to your preferences:

AI ModelsChoose which models to use for document chat, memory synthesis, and your daily digest.
IntegrationsSet up the MCP server URL for Claude or ChatGPT, and install the Quick Capture Chrome extension.
First MemoryUpload a document or paste some text to seed your memory.
SecurityOptionally enable two-factor authentication.

You can change all of these settings later from the Settings page.

3

Add your memories

There are several ways to get content into Woxpas:

Upload files

Go to Sources in the sidebar and upload PDFs, text files, Word documents, or Markdown. You can upload up to 5 files at a time (50MB each). Woxpas will process them automatically — extracting key ideas, entities, topics, commitments, and events.

Supported formats: PDF, TXT, MD, DOCX

Quick capture

On the home screen, you'll see the memory capture surface. Type or paste any thought, note, or snippet directly. It gets processed and connected to the rest of your memory instantly.

Browser extension

Install the Woxpas Quick Capture extension for Chrome. Type a thought, note, or idea and save it to your Woxpas memory without leaving your current tab.

URL ingestion

Paste any URL into the capture surface and Woxpas will fetch, process, and remember the page content for you.

Google Drive

Connect your Google Drive from the Sources page to import files directly. Google Drive access is currently in limited availability — you can request access from Sources.

MCP integration

Save memories directly from Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol. See the Integrations section below.

4

Explore your knowledge

Once you've added a few documents, Woxpas starts building connections. Here's how to explore them:

Knowledge graph

Open Explore from the sidebar to see your knowledge graph — an interactive visualization of how your memories connect. The graph shows multiple types of relationships:

Contains / MentionsFiles linked to topics and entities
Co-occurrenceEntities that appear together
TemporalMemories close in time
Semantic bridgeIdeas connected across time gaps
CommitmentsFiles linked to action items
EventsFiles linked to calendar entries

Click any node to see its details, related memories, and synthesized summaries.

Ask

Open Ask from the sidebar to ask natural language questions about your memories. Woxpas uses smart retrieval that understands whether you're looking for a specific artefact (a document, a quote) or the meaning behind something (a concept, a theme). Answers come with citations back to your original sources.

Follow-ups

Woxpas automatically extracts commitments and events from your documents. Open Follow-ups to see action items, deadlines, and a reliability score based on your completion rate. You can subscribe to a calendar feed to see events in your preferred calendar app.

5

Set up integrations

Woxpas integrates with your existing AI tools so you can save and recall memories from anywhere.

MCP Server

The Model Context Protocol lets AI assistants read and write to your Woxpas memory. Works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and any MCP-compatible tool. To set it up:

  1. 1.Go to Settings → Developer in the Woxpas app
  2. 2.Copy the MCP server URL: https://mcp.woxpas.ai/mcp/sse
  3. 3.Add it as an MCP server in your AI assistant
  4. 4.Authorize the connection when prompted — this uses OAuth, no API keys needed

ChatGPT supports MCP in developer mode only — the Woxpas app is not yet published in the ChatGPT app directory.

Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant to save memories to Woxpas or recall information from your vault.

Chrome Extension

Install the Woxpas Quick Capture extension for Chrome. It gives you a quick capture window so you can type and save notes to your Woxpas memory from any tab. Authenticates via OAuth and stores your token locally.

Calendar Subscription

Woxpas extracts events and deadlines from your documents automatically. To see them in your calendar, go to Follow-ups, click the calendar icon, and copy the subscription URL into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook.

6

Your daily digest

Once you have content in your vault, Woxpas generates a daily digest with:

  • Key insights synthesized from recent memories
  • Upcoming commitments and events
  • Patterns detected across your knowledge
  • Connections you might have missed

You can configure digest preferences and the AI model used in Settings → General.

7

Privacy and data control

Woxpas is built with transparency at its core:

Privacy Dashboard — See every external API call Woxpas makes with your data in the egress journal (Settings → Data & Privacy).
Data export — Export all your data as portable JSON at any time. No lock-in.
Two-factor authentication — Enable 2FA in Settings → Security for added account protection.
No training on your data — Your content is never used to train AI models. Third-party providers are contractually prohibited from doing so.
Account deletion — Delete your account and all data from Settings → Data & Privacy. There's a 30-day grace period in case you change your mind.

What's next?

You're all set. Here are some things to try:

Upload 3-5 documentsto see how the knowledge graph forms connections
Ask a question in Askthat spans multiple documents to see connected answers
Set up the MCP serverto save and recall memories from Claude or ChatGPT
Check Follow-upsto see commitments and events automatically extracted from your notes
